Bethlehem United Church
The men’s department will be having their annual fundraising BBQ on Saturday, July 11, beginning at 1:30 p.m. All are invited to come out to 2255 Westhill Ave. (corner Westhill/De Maisonneuve) for a good time. For info 514-489-7164.

This will be followed on July 17-19 by the youth department of Bethlehem United who will be having their annual youth meeting, Friday night at 7 p.m., Saturday at noon, with a discussion and at 6:30 p.m. Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. there will be special guest speakers from Ontario. Trinity Memorial Events
Trinity children’s Choir will be holding a new music program for children ages 5-12 at Trinity Memorial Church, 5220 Sherbrooke St. West each Saturday from June 20 to August 15, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. The program will teach children to sing using traditional African-American spiritual and contemporary Gospel styles of music. $40 for 8 sessions, $10 for 1 session (walk-ins).
On Saturday, September 12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Trinity’s Block Party will take place on the church lawn. Enjoy music, food and fun for the family. We are looking for performers to help entertain. Call us if you have some talent to share. Info 514-484-3102.

St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church

From Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31, St. Joseph of Nazareth church, 725 Provencher Blvd. in Brossard, will be holding a day camp for children ages 4-12 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily, under the theme “Something to Celebrate” (Stories from the Gospel of Luke), 7:30 p.m. This is a fun way to learn about Jesus and enjoy the company of other children. $20 per child (maximum $30 per family). Impact Lives Church

On August 8, Impact Lives will be holding their annual picnic to Yamaska Park. Bus leaves from 868 Beaumont, in Park Ex., (corner of Wiseman and Beaumont) at 8 a.m. Tickets are $30 for adults, children 13 to 17, $20; children 12 years and under $10. For info. 514-278-2423.

Union United Church

Union United Church, under the patronage of the Honorary Consul for Jamaica, Mr. George Grant, will be holding a special service to commemorate the 53rd year of the independence of Jamaica, on Sunday August 9 at 10 a.m. All are welcome.

Union United Church Picnic
On Saturday, July 11, Union United invites all to their church family picnic at St. Zotique Beach. Bus will leave Union United at 8 a.m. sharp. Seniors 65 years and older, $7; 13-64 years-old $10; children 6-12, $5; 3-5 $3; toddlers 0-2 and Sunday school children free.

Overcomers Assembly
Overcomers Assembly will be holding their Wordfest 2015 running from Wednesday, July 15 to Friday, July 17 under the theme “Joy Unspeakable” at 88 Ballantyne Street North (Corner of Curzon and Westminster).
