Montreal children’s poet Carol-Ann Hoyte returns with her second global collection of poetry for kids.
Her latest offering is Dear Tomato: An International Crop of Food and Agriculture Poems. In this collection, 37 writers from seven countries dish up 51 poems about food and farms and things that grow.
The anthology also features black-and-white photographs. Though the book is aimed at 8 to 12-year-olds, older readers and adults will also find the poems appealing.
Dear Tomato is available for $10  at Co-op la maison verte in NDG and online at CreateSpace.com ir at Amazon.com, also from the editor, at kidlitfan1972@yahoo.ca.
