Trinidad’s popular reggae singer Million Voice dies

In less than 60 days incarcerated entertainer Buju Banton will be a free man. Touch Of Red 6, Montreal’s biggest end-of-season fete will feature “International Stephen” for the first time. Reggae artiste Kevin “Million Voice” Young died on Friday October 5 around 8 a.m. at the Sangre Grande Hospital. Million Voice’s family and friends sought to raise funds for the ailing musician in 2017 after he had been diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer. Although he responded well to cancer treatment, the 41-year-old musician passed away from kidney failure due to complications arising from cancer. He was the brother of another …

Post-Election—Too early to surmise on Quebec’s likely demise?

Is change always a good thing? Only time would tell or answer the question well. October 1 came and went and saw Quebec voters vote for change. Whether or not the electorate is pleased with the final results, there is no refuting that it is one for the history books. RWANDA Louise Mushikiwabo emerges as favorite for SG of La Francophonie Louise Mushikiwabo’s candidature for the post of Secretary General of Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), the unifying body of French-speaking countries, has received a great push following Canada’s decision to support her. Canada had previously backed the incumbent, Michaëlle Jean, who was the first woman to hold the role.
