It was a packed hall on March 8, at 6767 Cote des Neiges, as Montrealers came out to help honour six deserving women for their achievements and contributions to the city.
Among those who received the Women of Merit Award from Playmas Montreal Cultural Association were banker-turned real estate broker Pamela Dass; Christiana Howe and Judy Lamotte, both entrepreneurs and health-care professionals; lifelong educators Myrna Lashley and Pamela Price; and Rosalie Phillips, an entrepreneur.
The event, A Taste of Tea, also featured a performance by Montreal’s Diva of blues and soul, Dawn Tyler Watson.
