Community Contact Staff

On the weekend of Friday, June 26-28, Taste of the Caribbean, the annual showcase of Caribbean food and music moves to a new location, this time on the outdoors on Ile Bonsecours in the Old Port of Montreal.
After 15 years of staging the event in various locations across Montreal, including Place Bonaventure, Marché Bonsecours, Raymond Bourque Arena, La Plaza, organizer Raeburn-Baynes teamed up with Cezar Brumeanu, a former organizer of the Montreal Int’l Reggae Festival and past owner of the House of Reggae show-bar on St-Denis Street and Maxwell Phillip, to  take TOTC to new heights by bringing it to an exciting new outdoor venue for a full weekend of activities.
For the 16th edition, organizers of the three-day event are expecting over 15,000 people to come and enjoy the splendour of the Caribbean – with FREE daytime admission. A minimal fee will be charged for the night concerts, which will feature international calypso, reggae and soca recording stars.
Each year, the festival draws thousands of happy fans who throng to TOTC to enjoy the delicious flavours, the tantalizing aromas and the colourful sights and sounds of the Caribbean.
For information on vendors, entertainers etc., please contact Mr. Cezar Brumeanu at production@totc.ca, vendors@totc.ca or info@totc.ca or visit our website at www.atasteofthecaribbean.ca.
