On June 25, a non-denominational gathering of Christians from across Montreal and Canada will gather at Place du Canada (corner of Peel and René-Lévesque west) and march to Cabot Square Parc (corner of Atwater and Ste-Catherine Street west).
Organizers say it’s an opportunity for “Christians from all parts of our nation to unite in repentance and prayer, and to come together as God’s instruments for the blessing and healing of our city.”
According to the Bible in 2 Chronicles 7:14:
If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
“Filling our city with the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth will be filled with the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
It’s about an ongoing process of making God’s name great again in our cities.
It is all about Jesus, and for Jesus.
It is about the process of building ongoing relationships with others in the body of Christ.
The inaugural March for Jesus was organized in 2011 as a way to “reach across social, economic, cultural and denominational walls to promote unity in the Body of Christ.
Organizers Pastor Sunday Micho, Pastor Toni Akintoye and other pastors in Montreal are welcoming all to participate in this celebration of life.
There will be music celebration, prayer, blessings, and many family fun activities for all. For more information visit: www.marchforjesus.net or call (514) 808-8804.
