19-month-old Brian
A long-term foster home is being sought for 19 months old Brian who is a delightful, affectionate and curious little boy who enjoys car rides. Brian has recently discovered that by running he can get to places quicker and tends to wants to run everywhere, thus his caregiver needs to be very attentive around supervision especially when outdoors.
He has a good daily routine eats and sleeps very well. Developmentally, he is on track and is able to point out the different parts of the body.
Brian’s parents are unable to take care of him. He therefore, needs a two-parent family who can make a commitment to him for as long as he needs. The ideal family would be that of an inter-racial couple of Italian and Dominican heritage.
Eleven-month-old Andrew
Andrew is a delightful, cuddly and sociable eleven months old baby boy with a good disposition. He crawls at a very fast pace as he has found out that this way gets him to places a lot faster. He is learning to walk, is pulling himself up and walking the length of the sofa. He is trying to talk, is interactive with his peers and plays very well with the dog in the home. He has a good daily routine and meal times are said to be satisfying and comforting for Andrew as he is so contented when he is being fed. He has two naps during the day and sleeps through the night.
Andrews’ parents are unable to take care of him: thus, he needs a family who will be able to make a commitment to him for as long as he needs. The ideal family would be an inter-racial family of Caucasian and Black heritage, mixed race or a Black family. The family should be open to planned visits from his parents.
Eight-month-old Mark
A foster home is being sought for Mark, a happy cuddly eight months old baby boy who is thriving well he is crawling and tries to sit by himself. He is playful and smiles a lot. He is growing age appropriately, is feeding well and wakes up once during the night and once he is fed he goes off to sleep.
Mark’s mother is unable to take care of him: he therefore; needs a warm; nurturing and stable environment where his needs will be met. Ideally, a two parent Black family who can make the commitment to Mark for as long as he needs. The family should be open to planned visits from his mother.
