Ottawa top calypsonians go against Mtl’s best on April 19

Kaiso… Kaiso will be the chant at Caribbean Paradise when Montreal’s leading bards of calypso take the stage for the grand opening of Socalypso Elite Tent for the 2015 season on Sunday April 19.
Several past monarchs of calypso in Montreal and Canada will be among the line-up for this the first show of the season including Skippy, Doggies and Loveman.
The remainder of the cast includes a mixture of seasoned veteran and exciting up-and-comers such as Sweet, Lady Paul, Nato, Evelyn, Raga Flixit and the
Ottawa posse with Fonz, Lady D and Rudy
