Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear.
If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.
Our life situations are as unique as we are. Unfortunately, adversity is a part of life, and there are times when we can begin to feel hopeless.
But you need hope to keep moving forward; otherwise, you’ll get stuck in hopelessness, eventually draining your energy and joy.
Life can be challenging and painful sometimes, but we can’t lose hope.
Without hope, what do we have?
Proverbs 13:12 says,
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.
When we lose hope, it can begin to make us physically, spiritually, and mentally sick.
Remember:
When life leaves you broken and wounded, hope gives you the strength to face another day.
Hope gives you the strength to keep going.
Jeremiah 29:11 says,
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
We only get one chance at this gift called life. So decide that you will
Embrace God’s love
Embrace living
Embrace something new
Embrace being in the
moment
Embrace forgiveness
Embrace the love of
others
Embrace peace
Embrace truth
Embrace healing
Embrace gratitude
Embrace HOPE!
“We must accept finite disappointment but never lose infinite hope.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Hope anchors the soul.”
Hebrews 6:19
“Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.’
Psalm 62:5
Remember:
We are all a work in progress. No one is perfect; life isn’t perfect, but hope can improve things. Hope knows that change is possible.
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Philippians 1:6
Don’t give up hope. He is not finished with you yet!
Every day is the possibility of…
New strength
New thoughts
New beginnings
New HOPE!
Hope motivates us, encourages us, and gives us a brighter outlook. You’ll feel better in general when you have a hopeful attitude.
So…
Have a blessed and HOPE-filled week!
