On January 31, 2015 is the annual Vision Gala Celebration. The 2015 recipient of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Achievement Award is Dany Laferriere. Vision Gala will also present the Gloria Mitchell-Aleong Award to a young artist, and the Victor Phillips Youth Award to another youth with academic and artistic success, also the Dr. Clarence Bayne Community Service Award to Mr. Noel Alexander.
