THE UNITED STATES VS. BILLY HOLIDAY

The legendary Billie Holiday stands as  one of the greatest jazz musicians of all time, adored by fans across the world.

Since her death in 1959, her life story colored by her struggles with addiction, fame and heartbreaking love has been depicted in books and movies

As the story goes she was targeted by the Federal Department of Narcotics who initiated an undercover sting operation led by a Black federal agent Jimmy Fletcher, with whom she had a tumultuous affair.

 Inspired by her life story, THE UNITED STATES VS. BILLIE HOLIDAY is a film directed by the award winning, Lee Daniels, (Precious and The Butler)

THE UNITED STATES VS. BILLY HOLIDAY is seeking a diverse group of Black extras to populate the numerous nightclubs throughout the film.

Shooting begins from early October to Mid-December, in Montréal
Salary: $14/h (8hrs minimum guaranteed per day)
