A Celebration of Love: Kele and Namosha

A Celebration of Love: Kele and Namosha

On Friday, July 14, Kelechukwu Onyejekwe and Namosha Boykin’s love and commitment to each other elevated them above all else.
And it found expression in a heart-warming marriage ceremony at Union United Church in front of a wide cross-section of relatives and friends, many of who travelled from afar to share the moment.
Namosha is a Montrealer and Kele is Nigerian; but both are U.S-educated and trained lawyers practicing in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
They chose to celebrate the wondrous occasion in Montreal at Union, the same institution where Namosha’s mother Eleitha and her grandmother Doris were married.
Reverend Emanuel B. Ofori, punctuated with beautiful music by pianist Moshe Guerrier, performed the nuptials.
Guests then made their way over to the Jamaican pavilion on Ile St. Helene to celebrate the doting couple to the music of DJ Don Smooth, and danced late into the night.
