God cares about your vision….
A happy new year to you my dear readers of the Community Contact!
This is a year to focus on you. It’s a year of vision and dreams. The year of the supernatural.
You can call yourself a watchmen, I see-er, a dreamer, a visionary, a prophetic intercessor, or whichever pleases you most. Regardless of the title, the objective is that you must have a desire to aim higher to get spiritual understanding and discernment.
This year, you must be able to discern what is going on in your personal life. You must walk with a keen seers anointing. Walk with spiritual boldness to address the issues that have been holding you hostage now for many years.
This is a year to evaluate your spiritual eyesight. Is your eyesight 20/20? Or less than 20/20? Has life been somewhat of a blur? Have you said too many times “ I didn’t see that coming” and been caught off guard by tragedies, disasters, misfortune and unnecessary frustrations. Many have eyes but they cannot see, they only know how to look into things and at things… there is a big difference between the two.
Dear readers, you need to know that everything in life starts in the spirit; then manifest in the natural world that we see. Even more importantly, it is the spiritual world that controls the natural world.
This year, you will see how the Bible will come alive as you read it. You will begin to see with your spiritual eyes the truths that I am telling you about.
I am praying for all my dear readers to get spiritual understanding of the times and the seasons we are living in. God cares about your vision and if you pray, He will answer.
In the Bible, God’s prophet prayed and asked God to open his servant’s eyes so that he could see that there was more forces with them than the army of the enemy that had set themselves against them. This was the prophet Elisha.
To set the scene for you, the prophet and his servant were surrounded by an army and his servant grew fearful at the sight of the enemy. Then the prophet declared that “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “O LORD, open his eyes so he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.(2 Kings 16-18)”.
You see, Elisha’s spiritual eyesight was 20/20 but the servant’s sight was natural and focus on the earthly realm only, like many of us today.
If you don’t have spiritual vision or eyesight you could be sleeping with your enemy and never know it. if you don’t have spiritual eyesight you may forefeet a battle because you saw an enemy but failed to see the heavenly hosts and the hand of God in your midst to assist you.
This year, ask God to give you spiritual eyesight foresight and insight. It could change your way of thinking because when you know you have heavenly backup you will not quiver and claim defeat but you will be bold and claim your blessings.
Many of us are not even aware that everyone, each one of us can make use of their spiritual antennas. Antennas are like radars that allow you to stay on the alert and be sensitive to spiritual things by seeing and discerning what is going on in your life on a daily basis.
Spiritual vision is called 20/20 vision. You need vision as your life transitions from year to year.
When you attain spiritual vision, you become a 20 foot giant in the realm of the Spirit. You know for sure you are born for a purpose and that your creator has a plan for your life.
When you can see what others do not see; you become a visionary, you become a protector, you become an innovator, you become even greater!
Get your spiritual eyes checked and allow the word to amplify your vision so that you can have 20/20 vision to see more clearly and understand God and his purpose for your life even more.
Start the year with vision and aim to carry out your God-given assignment throughout the next 365 days.
