 Coconut Bread Competition

The ongoing discussion, as to who makes the best coconut bread can now be or at least contribute more to debate. With the creation of the “Coconut Bread Competition” the best baked Caribbean coconut bread can now be proclaimed for a period time. Consequently, with the potential success of the competition, bakers orparticipants will up their game for the next competition. Play Mas Montreal Cultural Association presents Coconut bread competition on Sunday 24th July 2016 at 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Le Centre, 6767 Cote Des Neiges. Admission: Adult $15 Children $5. Pioneer Women Tea Party

This year, the  much anticipated Annual Tea Party of the  Caribbean Pioneer Women of Canada on  Sunday, July 10, 4pm.  at Centre Loisirs, 1375 Grenet Street (corner Grenet and Thimens). All of Montreal are invited to enjoy some tea and sweets for the  27th annual staging of this event.

Teen Talent Contest

Members of Prince Hall Grand Lodge will be hosting their annual Teen Talent Contest on August 5. The event will take place at The Holiday Inn Montreal Airport, 6500 Cote de Liesse at 7:30pm. If you sing, dance, play an instrument or have any other talent and are between the ages of 12 -19, we invite you to come and participate in this worthwhile competition! Cornucopia Association of Canada will be hosting its 36th Annual Benefit Gala Dinner and Scholarship Presentations on August 20, 6pm. Happening at the Bocci’s Banquet Hall, 1756 Av. Dollard. Bus Ride to JAM DAY IN OTTAWA

Organizers are inviting Montrealers to get on the bus for the trip to Jam Day in Ottawa on August 6. The day will feature a line up of international reggae stars including Baby Cham,  Glen Washington, Kafinal, Little John, Tiger, Johnny P and Montreal’s Black Parents in a massive showcase of talent.
And they are offering a special deal for the bus ride and admission to the show at only $65 per person.
