The Process Of Faith

Dear readers, let’s be practical and keep things simple. We need to get back to basics with our faith. The Bible tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6.) In other words when we demonstrate our faith in Christ Jesus and His gospel; it pleases the Lord. James 2:18 goes even further to say that we ought to show our faith by our deeds. Do not get me wrong, Christianity and salvation is not by works. Your good deeds and works cannot get you into heaven however your deeds, your actions demonstrate your level of …

“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”

I want to encourage you this week to not give up. Why is encouragement so important? We’ve all had times in our lives when we needed a little encouragement. Fifty years later two men exonerated for killing Malcolm X

Two men who were convicted for the murder of Malcolm X in 1965, have now been cleared of all charges by a Manhattan judge. Mohammed Aziz and the Late Khalil Islam were exonerated after over half a century of doubts and myths that swirled around the death of the man who for many is the personification of Black struggle for human rights and dignity. Born Malcolm Little in Nebraska, he has been immortalized as a man who went from thoughtless criminal to militant ascetic; from indignant racist to insurgent humanist, years later, X remains an icon of the struggle for …

LIGHTEN UP. WE’RE ALL ON A JOURNEY (Part 2)

Let me be frank! As we get old or older,  life does not slow down.  It only means that there is more living to do in a shorter  period of time. So let us get moving and enjoy the beauty of old age. There are certain conditions that accompany old age.  Physically there is some deterioration of all our senses.  Our eyesight, hearing, tasting, smelling and feeling (touching) are no longer functioning at one hundred per cent. They all do not change at the same rate nor at the same time, it is different for everyone. So it is possible …
