In Appreciation of Pastor Glen Gray

They gathered at the UNIA Hall on Nov 26, the congregation of Imani Family and Full Gospel Baptist Church, others in the faith community, friends and supporters, in veneration of a spiritual leader who in his relatively short time in Montreal has made his mark on the lives of many. The Pastor Appreciation Evening was an homage to Pastor Glenn Gray, who in the six years that he has been installed as the head of the church is being recognized as a teacher and a builder. UNIA: Rooted in the Past, Eyes on the Future

The United Negro Improvement Association (Montreal Chapter 334) was launched in 1919 by The Honourable Marcus Mosiah Garvey, will take a step forward in its rebuilding process when it launches an extensive membership drive as a way to inject new blood into its ranks. The initiative is being spearheaded by Mervyn Weekes a former social worker and long serving community worker, who was elected president of the association on July 12.
