Mom, You will be Forever in our Hearts and Not Ever Forgotten
Beverley Eloise Artery Roache

December 8, 2023, will be six years since you went peacefully home that sunny Friday morning, it was about 10 to noon. I remember it clearly. Though the years go by, not a day passes without you coming to mind, even ever so briefly. Now with these thoughts, come a smile, a feeling of warmth. Yes, I must admit, sometimes a smile and before I realize it, my eyes well up with tears. However, now, always an unconscious smile and still that sensation of warmth and profound unconditional love that you were so well known for. I often feel it when you appear in my dreams.
God places special people on this earth and in our lives, for us, you are undoubtedly one of them. It is not about ostentatious contributions that everyone can see, or material things, for that was not you. However, it was your quiet confidence and strength, as well as your kind, reliable, trustworthy, honest nature, sprinkled with a little mischievous humour – with these and your other many qualities, you touched the hearts and lives of many without realizing it. You have inculcated many of these qualities in us, we are forever grateful. May we also use them to touch the lives of others in positive ways, be it directly or indirectly.

We thank God always, for blessing us with you – Mom, Wife, Nana, Daughter, Sister, Friend and more. You are forever loved and not ever forgotten.
