House of Prayer Banquet on Nov.12
Contact STAFF
As the Holiday season approaches, many are looking forward to the array of scrumptious meals that are sure to delight our palettes. A sure hit will be the House of Prayer For All Nations Annual Banquet on November 12, which is sure to delight guests with a three-course Caribbean feast and an exciting concert featuring local talents.
Though this event is a fundraiser to benefit the church building-fund and the outreach missions, the banquet has always been a community affair to serve the people of Montreal.
This year will mark the first year that the church will be honoring two outstanding community members for their influence and service. The two worthy recipients being recognized are Mr. Osborne Allen, owner and operator of the Cote des Neiges Child Care Centre for the past 40 years and Mrs. Lorna Joseph, the driving force behind the West Island Black Family Association Summer Camp.
On November 12, all are welcomed to dine, dance, celebrate and support the honorees at this special evening of spiritual bonding and community building.
The event will be held at the Town of Mount Royal Hall at 90 Roosevelt Ave. TMR 2016.
Regular admission is $60. Family admission for an adult accompanied by a child is $70
