On Sunday, November 15 at 7 p.m., Danse Danse has teamed up with Jack Of All Trades (JOAT) to offer dance fans an opportunity to witness a high-level battle royale on the stage that will feature eight dancers from Quebec and Canada together with DJ Richard “Shash’U” St-Aubin.
This year marks the 6th edition of the JOAT (Jack Of All Trades) Battle, which are performances of a form of street dance that is as spectacular as it is fascinating.
The event will take place in the Yoop eSpace, live from Place des Arts with three large screens installed in front of the dancers will project images of audience members reacting to the battle live and in real time.
The event, which will introduce street dance to a wider audience and share the stunning energy of a battle event, will be guided by the irrepressible MC Étienne Lou and organizers say it’s enough to turn any living room into a dance floor.
The three jury members—Anthony D. Amstrong, aka “Slim Boogie” (USA), Sonia Bel Hadj Brahim, aka “SonYa” (France), and Akihito Yamaguchi, aka “Gucchon” (Japan)—will join the battle virtually.
Sixth edition of an original concept of Jack Of All Trades, the event takes place in the Yoop eSpace, live from Place des Arts.
