j’cans extend a hand to dominicans

The Honorary Consul for Jamaica, Mr. George Grant, and the president of the Jamaica Association of Montreal, Mr. Noel Alexander, present a donation of 2,000 pens and carrying bags to the President of the Dominica Island Cultural Association of Montreal, Mrs. Ketlyn Maitland-Blades at a hand-over ceremony held at the Jamaica Association last Thursday.
Mr. Grant stated that “this is part the efforts being made by the Jamaican community in Montreal to assist the recovery efforts in our sister island following the damage done by tropical storm Erika.”
