BIG HATS AND HIGH TEA TO CELEBRATE “WOMEN IN The COMMUNITY”

On Sunday, March 6, Montreal’s sophisticated set will gather for tea at Le Centre 6767 Cote des Neiges Road. The event is A Taste of Tea” and this year’s theme is “Big Hats and High Tea”, which we will create around a.
To compliment the theme organizers are planning what they describe as a “High Society” ambiance and are asking guests to wear “society/tea” style hats or fascinator sand gloves.
Guests will also be greeted with a specialty welcome TIFIDEN tea then dine on a menu will feature traditional high tea items plus Caribbean specialties and sweets.
Another highlight of the event will be the presentation of the “Woman of Merit” Awards to six women in the community, which will be followed by a society style High Tea Talk.
The evening’s entertainment will also be flavored by specialty entertainment by Italian singer, Aldo Villani and ballroom dancer Emily Rivkin and a Mother/Daughter fashion show
Another feature will be the deluxe dessert/candy station from the TIFIDIN tea boutique and a sweet inspiration line of cupcakes.
And as usual, excitement will be in free flow as guests compete for lots of prizes that will be handed out throughout the event for best hat, best fascinator and best teacup.
The venue will be decorated with High Society inspired items, such as lace and/or crocheted runners, simple yet elegant linens, fresh floral arrangements and more.
A Taste of Tea (Caribbean Tea Party) is designed as an exclusive event for Playmas Montreal Cultural Association to celebrate International Women’s Day.
