Delta Antoine In Concert

Sunday, September 17, will be a big night in Montreal. Black Moses Promotions is bringing Delta Antoine to the Quality Hotel for what should be another slamming performance. When Delta takes the stage, she will be brining the power, backed up by a live band. During the intermission DJ 610 & ABNA will keep the crowd rocking. Come out for this one. Cornucopia Association of Canada Gala

CAOC presents Unity, Strength Multiplied=Power. A benefit Gala, Dinner and Scholarship presentation. Come out and see and meet community youth who are excelling. Cavendish Seniors Day Centre Dinner and Dance

Saturday, August 19, will be a good evening. All are invited to come out and support the Cavendish Seniors Day Centre Dinner and Dance. The evening will include Cocktails & Hors d’oeuvres, 5 – 6 p.m. And then the dinner; On the Menu: Filet Mignon, Salmon, Lobster, Vegetarian. Savoys Annual Affair is back. Come out and enjoy the sweet sounds: Beautiful Voices, Sweet Pan, Reggae, and Classical Indian dance. It’s like a buffet of music for all tastes, and dancing too. Barbados comes to Ottawa

On Sunday September 24, bring along the entire family and celebrate Barbados at the Horticulture Building, in Lansdowne Park, from 10:00 am to10:00pm. Be a part of the thousands of Barbadians as they come out to experience the best of Barbados, as part of “Ottawa Welcomes the World” – a guaranteed crown favorite of the Ottawa 2017 year of festivities.
Free of charge for all ages, you don’t want to miss a day filled with cultural performances, while indulging in all your favorite Barbadian foods and drinks, art and crafts. You will also want to be a part of tourism information workshops, as well as investment opportunities that will be presented.

The Barbados House (Montreal) Inc  Fall Activities.
On Saturday September 16, they will be hosting “Bajan Breakfast” at the St. Mark’s Church Hall. The following Sunday, September 24, join then in Ottawa to celebrate the Best in Barbados. Admission is free and bus fare is $40. For tickets, see any of their executive members.
November is also full of events, starting on Saturday the 4th with their Banquet & Ball 2017. This lavish event will be held at the Gabbiano Banquet Hall from 6:30 pm to 2:30am. Ticket prices will be released in the near future.
If you’re looking to give back to a great cause, join the Barbados House on Saturday November 25, for their “Fundraising for the Barbados Geriatric/District Hospitals”. Come down to the Montreal First Church of the Nazarene, located at 455 Spring Garden, in DDO.
On Sunday November 26, be a part of the celebration of House of Barbados’ Thanksgiving Church Service which will be held at the Union United Church from 4:00 pm.
As the spirit of Christmas nears, join them once again for their Christmas Party on December 17, from 5:00 pm. This event, perfect for the entire family, will be held at Le Manoir, located at 5319 Avenue Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, at the corner of Decarie.
