Union United minister submits resignation

The congregation of the Union United Church was taken by surprise on Sunday, October 23, when their spiritual leader Reverend Emmanuel Ofori tendered his resignation during the service.
For several months, the Reverend and a small faction of his congregation have been in an ongoing conflict that led to the presbytery of the Union United Church placing the church under administrative supervision.
Community CONTACT has not been able to speak to Reverend Ofori up to press time. His resignation notice comes into effect in 90 days.
