Thank You for the Support!

On behalf of the officers and members of Hawks International (Montreal Chapter), we’d like to thank everyone for making our Annual 60 Plus Seniors Luncheon a huge success.  After a three year hiatus, our luncheon which was held on Sunday, May 29th, was enjoyed and attended by over 250 seniors (including Mrs. Lucille Hernandez, our honoured senior of the day).
Our day was well hosted by our Master of Ceremony Mrs. Sherma Salandy, and her co-hosts Mrs. Kathy Blades and Mr. Anthony-G. They made our seniors feel welcome and well entertained.
Thanks to our entertainers who gave of their time to make this a special day.  Mr. James Andrews (steelpan), Mrs. Charlene Ranville-Vilburn (national anthems), Dondre Pryce-Lalla (puppeteer), Ms. Rhea Foz (singer), Mr. Dexter Johnson (saxopone), Ms. Kai Lewis (singer), Fusion Vibes (Indian Dancers), Kerry Fevrier (singer), Clement Walker (singer), Movement (Susan Blanche Chato and Nicole Marshall) D.J.610 and D.J. Elvin, and to our photographers, Vaughn Bailey and Gordon Weeks.
To our main sponsors, Emrit and Savi of Curry House, Eveagreen Reception Hall management, Montreal Community Contact we thank you. To the various church groups, organizations, and seniors groups from all regions of the island of Montreal, we thank you!
A Special Thanks to  Mr. Theodore Blaize, Marlene Yorke, Lance Lewis, Knolly Modest, Sylvia Phillips (Momsy), Evelyn Raphael, Yvette Ranville, Phillipa Fournella, Helen David, Mary Fieguera, Margaret Payette, Preference Meat Market, Naiomi Chapter#2, Tristan D. Lalla,  Elizabeth McSween, Leonard Wharwood and many others ..
Without our Volunteers, we could not have made it possible. (Recognition was given to Mr. Erroll Parris, for his dedicated volunteerism over the years.) We thank all of our volunteers for their support.
To the community, we ask that you support our Annual New Year’s Eve Ball because part proceeds go towards this event for the seniors.  They have paved the way for us, and they deserve nothing but the best. Let’s make sure they get it.
See you all next year!
Brenda and Cheryl Wallace
