WE DID IT MONTREAL
This year, Fashion For A Cause Montreal donated $5,675 to the Sickle Cell Anemia Association of Quebec.
The donation stems from the Rip The Runway Mtl. 2014 show, which was held at Schofield Hall in TMR on Thanksgiving weekend. And as it has been for the past three years, the show was a smashing success. Many individuals and groups across Montreal contributed to that success.
Thanks to the sponsors and supporters who helped, including: Silver Star Montreal, WD Entertainment, MC Pat Dillon-Moore; DJ Smokey; Seasoned Dreams; The Vault Studio; 1milk2sugars PRINTING; Princessa Beauty Supplies; TishTreats; hairstylist – Diva Salon; makeup artists Shanique Small; Joycelyn Forde and Sabi; decorator Sonia Millet Robinson; photographers Nadia Khalifa Photography; Kailha.Com and Halouma’s World.
Also, all in the media (including social media) who helped spread the word.
Big thank-you to the models, designers and sponsor for their ongoing involvement, and to the entertainers who blew up the Rip The Runway stage: Kotuku Danes, Young Soul and Shaharah.
Also, we are indebted to all the volunteers who helped in every aspect.
Rip The Runway Mtl. 2015 will certainly be back next year, on October 10, 2015, and will benefit the Tristan Williams MS Foundation while raising awareness for Multiple Sclerosis.
Congratulations to Jamilia Joseph, the grand-prize winner of the “Win A Mercedes For A Weekend.”
From committee members: Janice Small-Wright, Dawn McNichols and Aileen McCalla.
