A full house was on hand at Schofield Hall in TMR to celebrate with officers and members of the St. Vincent & the Grenadines Association of Montreal Inc. as they marked their 49th annual Banquet and Ball and celebrated 35 years of Independence of the Caribbean nation on Saturday, October 25.11-06-2014 svg 1
The evening included a performance by Zina Edwards.
Also, there was the presentation of awards to three deserving members of the community – Yolande Campbell, Abigail Dick and Zina Edwards.
Sean Sutherland, a respected academic and pianist who holds Undergraduate and Graduate degrees from MIT, and an MBA from McGill University where he currently teaches, delivered the feature address.
Gordon Weekes served as Master of Ceremonies.
