CELEBRATION HONOURS COMMUNITY WORKER

Sometimes you just need to hear it … You’re a beautiful mom, doing a great job, and you’re so loved! Now, let’s celebrate and honour our mothers, grandmothers, aunts and friends together.
Community worker Shernette (Timmy) Emmanuel-Mars has been selected as the “Mother of the Year” to be honoured at this auspicious event. An afternoon filled with surprises is being planned for “Timmy,” as she is affectionately known, who has done so much for the community with little or no recognition.
Organized and coordinated by Judy Lamotte of Judy’s Ushering & Coordination Service in collaboration with Gemma Raeburn-Baynes of Playmas Montreal Cultural Association, this Mother’s Day celebration takes place on Sunday, May 8, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 6600 Cote de Liesse, Montreal from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Join us for cocktails, a four course sit-down meal, a Gelato ice-cream station, a wonderful fashion show with the Montreal Ebony Models, and live entertainment by Priscilla Findlay and her band, Jab Jab Orchestra, actor and comedian Andrew Searles. All of them and much, much, more will be the order of the afternoon.
Tickets are now available by calling Judy at (514) 249-6432 or Gemma at (514) 620-6612.
