JAMAICA AND TRINIDAD DAYS IN THE PARC JEAN DRAPEAU

For all intents and purposes it’s summer in Montreal, and when it’s summer in this city, then it’s festival season and “Days in the Park.”
Most notable among them are the annual Jamaica Day and Trini Days, and they’re coming soon.
On Saturday, July 4th make your way out to Parc Jean Drapeau for Jamaica Day 2015. While you’re there embrace the best in Jamaican food, beverages, music and entertainment courtesy of Montreal’s top restaurants. Then dance to the music of some of some of Montreal’s top DJs. Also featuring performances by Lady G & Indie Roots Band, Jah Cutta & Determination Band, Mikey Dangerous & Higher Heights Band. The following week, Saturday July 11, midday till 11 p.m. Trini Day at Jean Drapeau will takeover. Vincy Family Day Picnic  

On  Saturday July 18, all roads lead to Browns Bay, 1000 Island for the annual  Family Day  Picnic  organized by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Association of Montreal Inc.
Buses leave from Plamondon Metro at 7:30 AM for a day of family fun that will include picnics, music, games and more.

Live and Learn Session –Cancelled
The Live and Learn Session with Jae-Anthony and Barbados House scheduled June 13 has been cancelled due to low attendance.
General Meeting
The next general meeting will take place on Sunday, June 14th, 5pm at St. Paul’s Anglican Church – 3970 Chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine.
Bus Trip
On the weekend of June 27-28, join them for their bus trip to North Conway with shopping in North Conway, Concord and Lebanon. Bus departs Maxi Fairview 6:30am, Van Horne Shopping Centre 7am and Newman Shopping Centre (LaSalle) 7:30am.
. Picnic – July 11
Barbados House invites you to its Summer Throwback Picnic at Angrignon Park, Saturday July 11 from 10am until sunset.  Why not bring your picnic basket and spend a day with good food, family, friends?  There will be games for all ages and plenty of fun!

Let’s Help A Buddy
The Producers III proudly presents on June 24, 2015 at Rosebowl Lanes 6510 St. Jacques at 12pm (noon) it will be The Big Bowling Derby event to provide a brand new bicycle for an underprivileged youth.

Jerk Fest on de la Savanne
Proudly presenting St. Jean-Baptiste Day on Wednesday June 24, it will be an outdoor event at 5215 de la Savane for Montreal’s first ever Jerk Festival from 10am to 10pm.
Music from a line up of Montreal top deejays including Firesquad, Spice Connection, Nemesis Sound, Rhyno Music, Earth Quake, Crystal Sound Int. and friends featuring Selecta Diamond, Stone Love. Mtl Reggae Fest: The Manhattans on the bill

The Montreal International Reggae Fest would be holding their annual event at the Old Port of Montreal this August 14 to 16 with Reggae classics and dancehall phenomenon.
