No one can blame Cultural Farmer (Grell Jack) for really “liking himself” these days. After all the high-energy Montrealer is celebrating the release of a musical project that he has been working at for the past several months, if not years.
It’s a seven-track album that has been made available to music lovers across several digital platforms.
He says the project and his quest to connect with a wider and global audience has been an enlightening and learning experience and that continues to excite him just as he is convinced that his music will excite audiences.
The album is titled Power Music and the tracks criss-cross among the genres from world-beat to reggae to soca and calypso and a sprinkling of hip-hop, all original music, written by the Farmer himself.
Farmer is excited to say that among the six tracks are two (‘Melody’ and ‘When I See You’) that were arranged by a Caribbean musical genius, Lyn Taitt, a Trinidadian acclaimed to be one of the pioneers of reggae music.
The other tracks include ‘Secret,’ ‘Smile,” ‘Miracles’ and Martini Breeze.’
Montreal Christian Denis provided the musical and technical support along with back-up signer Chantal and Andrea.
Power Music is distributed by Distrokid and is available on all major platforms including Youc.
Cultural Farmer is encouraging music lovers far and wide to check it out.
