Successful Women

Leadership Strategist Jacqueline Morrison will be holding a women’s workshop on Saturday January 30th at the Atwater Library, 1200 Atwater Avenue Montreal. The aim of the workshop is to empower, inspire and equip women to realize their purpose and maximize their potential. The workshop will touch on topics such as creating your own vision board for advancement, overcoming setbacks and improving your personal and professional life. Monnaie Money on Feb. 27

The young talents of Montreal will be on display at the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall (Loyola Campus) 7141 Rue Sherbrooke W. for February’s signature event, Monnaie Money, on Saturday February 27.
As usual, there will be a full line-up of performers thrilling what is expected to a sold-out audience with unique styles in dance and song. There will be rap, hip hop, soca, reggae and other world beat music in abundance, and as it has been every year, the talent will be spectacular.

Barbados House AGM now on Jan. 31

Officers of Barbados House Montreal inform members that the Annual General Meeting has been rescheduled to Sunday, January 31, 4pm at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 3970 Cote-St. Catherine St. instead of January 10. They’re hoping that all who are eligible to participate will make an effort to be there.

Glen Washington for Valentine’s
International superstar crooner Glen Washington will be in Montreal to help lovers in the city celebrate Valentine’s Day on Saturday, February 13, at Evergreen Reception Hall, 5011 Rue Buchan, Montreal.
The event will overflow with excitement with non-stop music from Calm, 610, DJ Toney, Professor and Lil Thunder with special guest appearance by Mr. Hits and Mc Howard Stretch Carr. For The Love of You
There will be a lot of love and some of the best Montreal talent on display at the For The Love Of You Valentine’s Evening on Sunday, February 14 at the Caribbean Paradise Lounge. The event is organized by Mystic Music and Love, and there will be a lot of love performances by The Walkers… CC and Cleopatra.
