Blessings will flow at Church of God of Prophecy

On Saturday, March 11th Ray and Friends will congregate at the Montreal West Church of God of Prophecy for their annual concert.
On stage that night will be some of Montreal’s brightest Gospel artists and they are promising “a life-changing experience.” All of which will come together under the direction of renowned songwriter, musician, producer, promoter and recording artist, Ray Johnston.
This year’s concert will be a fundraising event to help with ongoing repairs to the exterior of the building, which houses 3 churches.
Wearing his many different hats, Johnston has dedicated his life to spreading the good news of the gospel through music. And for the past six years has been providing a platform for artists to showcase and develop their ministry, with events such as The Living Room Gospel Fusion and The Ray and Friends concerts. He also showcases local and Canadian artists on his weekly radio show, Gospel Unlimited, on CJLO 1690AM CJLO.com, Saturdays 10 AM – 12PM.
A member of the Montreal West Church of God of Prophecy for over 25 years, Johnston is forever grateful for the prayers, support and spiritual instruction of the congregation that has kept him (and his team) grounded over the years.

An interesting aspect of his spiritual walk is his fellowship with the Montreal West Gospel choir, a group of church members that “enjoys singing for the glory of God.” This helps to keep him humble and focused on doing God’s work.
And he’s excited about 2017, with plans to improve on last year’s successes: get out of his comfort zone by putting all trust in God in prayer and being available to serve the Lord and seeing how far He will take him and the choir.
Come and see them in concert March 11 at the Montreal West Church of God of Prophecy, 5255 rue de Sorel.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the door. To reserve yours, call 514-718-9435 •514-222-0474•or 514-484-8271.
