Impact Lives Church
On August 8, Impact Lives will be holding their annual picnic to Yamaska Park. Bus leaves 868 Beaumont, in Park Ex. (corner of Wiseman and Beaumont) at 8 a.m. Tickets are $30 for adults, children 13 to 17-year-olds $20, and children 12 years and under $10.

Union United Church
Union United Church under the patronage of the Honorary Consul for Jamaica Mr. George Grant will be holding a special service to commemorate the 53rd year of the Independence of Jamaica. Sunday, August 9 at 10 a.m. All are welcome.

Oasis Worship Center
Everyone’s invited to a day of love and care at Oasis Worship Center, 377-44E Ave. in Lachine on Sunday, August 9. There will be activities for the community, a health corner with free health checks, free refreshments and free smoothies. Bible-Way trip Pennsylvania
From August 26-29 Bible Way Pentecostal Church will be hosting their “Women of Vision” trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania “Sight & Sound Theatre – Brining the Bible to Life. The Story of Joseph.” Listen to motivational Christian host and speaker Joyce Meyers and worship leader Israel Houghton. There will be a tour of the Amish country.
Then on Saturday, September 26, join them for their Total Praise Concert at 7 p.m. at Bible-Way Pentecostal Church, 2390 rue Coursol, with anointed guest artists (names of artists to follow). Proceeds in aid of BPC music ministry upgrade. For more info (514) 932-8225.

Lighthouse Crusade

Trinity Children’s Events
Trinity Children’s Choir would be holding a new music program for children ages 5-12 at Trinity Memorial Church 5220 Sherbrooke West each Saturday from June 20 to August 15 from 11am-12pm. The program would be teaching children to sing using traditional African-American spiritual and contemporary Gospel styles of music. $40 for 8 sessions and $10 for 1 session (walk-ins).

Then on Saturday, September 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., it will be Trinity’s Block Party on the Trinity Memorial Church lawn. Bring the family and enjoy music, food and fun. We are also looking for performers to help entertain. For info (514) 484-3102.
