Area and think that you’ll need a warm meal for the Holidays, members of the Outreach Ministry at the Montreal West Church of God of Prophecy stand ready to make that happen.
That’s why they are preparing to serve dozens of dinners to families in these areas as part of their their mission to see that no one goes hungry for the Holidays.
On Wednesday, December 21, they will be delivering a specially packaged Christmas dinner to individuals and families in need across Montreal and they are also asking people to stop by the church on 5255 De Sorel just outside of the de La Savanne Metro and pick one up for take out.
Mahalia James, one of the leaders of the ministry says they are hoping to serve as many Montrealers as they can on that day and are especially targeting people who for one reason or the other cannot get out and those who are without family.
“Meals will be dropped off right at your door steps.”
She also guarantees that everyone who shows up at the church will have a meal to take home: “We will not turn anyone away”
The meal, which will consist of holiday staples from the Caribbean and North America including desserts will be prepared by members of the congregation, known for their extraordinary culinary capabilities. .:
James says the door at the Montreal West Church of God of Prophecy 3:00 pm, and everyone will leave with a hearty and tasty package.

Imani’s Christmas Lounge
