Organizers of  the Anguilla, Nevis, St. Kitts Association Reunion (ANSAR) have an elaborate weekend planned and are expecting a full contingent from home and the Diaspora to be here for this signature event.
A spokesperson for the St. Kitts-Nevis Association of Montreal says 150 designated  rooms at the Holiday Inn Pointe Claire (venue for all the activities) are already sold out, and four neighbouring hotels have been commissioned to handle the excess of visitors who will be making their way to Montreal on the weekend of July 1-3.
And they are inviting Montrealers to join the festivities, which kick off on the Friday evening with a meet-and-greet, and moves into full gear on Saturday July 2nd with formal opening ceremonies, the marketplace, workshops, a city tour for out-of-town guests, then the highly anticipated banquet and ball which will feature the Brimstone band.
On Sunday, July 3, guests will celebrate the tri-island state at a morning church service followed by a luncheon before wrapping up ANSAR at a cultural extravaganza during the afternoon.
Entrepreneurs wishing to advertise in the Souvenir Journal, or secure a booth at the marketplace, can still be accommodated.
