On October 25, a wide cross-section of Montrealers will gather at the Montreal West Church of God of Prophesy to celebrate the music of a line-up of the city’s Gospel stars at Curtis CRC Cain CD launch.
The concert promises to be wall-to-wall musical excitement with gospel veterans sharing the stage with up-and-coming stars in what is expected to be a showcase of Montreal talent.
The show promises to be a breakout moment for Cain, an emerging star who has been turning heads with his exceptional musical abilities over a decade or so. The CD, All to You, is his second album.
Also expected to cause a stir at the event is the wildly popular Perpetual Praise. The choir, under the direction of Tasmyn Clarke, has its roots in the Seventh Day Church of Montreal and is in the midst of celebrating their 16th year in music.
Noted for their high energy and “off-the-chain” performances, the choir has a habit of thrilling audiences wherever they appear.
Sister Debbie and The Full Faith Worship Team based at the newly established Shiloh Restoration Church are expected to bring their special touch of praise and worship to the evening.
Up and coming sensation Ezra Lewis is slowly making her mark on the local performance circuit. She will bring a super youthful touch to the evening.
As usual, Reverend Darryl Gray, pastor and spiritual leader of Imani Family and Full Gospel Church, will add some spiritual heft as he lends his voice to the event. Two well-placed voices in the community, Christopher Heron (Mind, Soul and Spirit) and Pastor Michelle Clarke (Youth Minister at Westmount Seventh Day Adventist Church), will guide audiences through the signature evening of Gospel music.
