Night of Elegance Eight

Montreal’s season of love and friendship unfolds on Saturday, February 3, with the annual Night of Elegance Eight at the beautiful Plaza Volare, 6600 Cote de Liesse.
Under the masterful direction of event coordinator Judy LaMotte, this year the pre-Valentine show and dance comes with an exciting package of entertainment featuring a few of the best our community has to offer, including The West Can Junior Dancers and Drummers as well as the massively popular Ukpong the pan soloist. And music for dancing will be supplied by DJ Star Q.
LaMotte, who has had a hand in some of the grandest affairs in our community, says this annual event focuses on love, as well as the beginning of Black History Month celebrations in the city.
“It showcases the benefits of sharing love not only to our significant “other” but to everyone around us… family and friends.”
She and her team, which includes Arnelle Andrews, Shantel Brown, Suzanne Eversley, Susan Grant, Heather Jones, Melissa Duncan-Seon, Don Smooth and Carol Richards
are wildly excited about this year’s Night Of Elegance, and the invitation goes out to all Montrealers to share in this night of music and friendship, where love will be in free-flow.
Cocktails begin at 6:00 p.m., which includes an open wine station, followed by a scrumptious four-course meal with an exotic Canadian/Caribbean to follow later in the evening.
There will be door prizes and other surprises, including two chances to win a night at the Crowne Plaza. For tickets reservation and information, call Judy at (514) 249-6432.
