As winter withers away and spring brings its own energy and enthusiasm to Montreal, many will be looking for marquee events to attend on the weekend.
A musical affair set for Saturday, April 25 at The Crowley Arts Centre in NDG is the inspirational event called A NEW SEASON hosted and produced by Perpetual Praise Ministries.
A New Season will feature recording artist and Brooklyn-based Gospel group, Laos In Harmony.
This dynamic 14-member band made up of exceptionally talented young vocalists and musicians will electrify all onlookers with their powerful, precision-like vocals and effortless instrumentation. Laos is a Greek word translated to mean “people”, hence the phrase “people in harmony”.
With recent performances in Huntsville, Alabama at the prestigious Oakwood University and a memorable performance in their hometown, during halftime at the Brooklyn Nets game (NBA) Laos In Harmony is emerging as a fan favorite.
A New Season will also feature the charismatic Gamal Alexander from Harlem, NY as the special guest speaker for the event and Montreal’s very cherished chorale, Perpetual Praise, under the direction of Tammy Clarke.
Perpetual Praise Ministries is on a mission in 2015 to bring contemporary, cross cultural events to today’s millennial generation, introducing top-tier musical performers and captivating speakers to Montreal’s very sophisticated concert audience.
On the heels of another blockbuster event, MARCH MOVEMENT: RELOADED, Perpetual Praise Ministries is retooling and returning one month later with a follow-up show that promises to match the excitement of all previous events.
A New Season is a free admission event, which will be hosted at The Crowley Arts Centre, 5325 Crowley Ave in NDG. Visit www.ppmmontreal.com or call 514 963 7677.
