Westmount SDA celebrates

This past December 14, Westmount Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Social Committee hosted its annual Une Soirée de Noël Dans un Jardin banquet, at the Holiday Inn, 6500 Cote de Liesse.
Organizers see it as “truly a blessing when we can gather together and share good times with one another, and hope that we all continue to hold onto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.”
The evening started with an enchanting time in the tropical garden of the hotel for appetizers followed by a 5-course meal.
Guests were favored with a range of entertainment, including comedy skits, a variety of musical selections and a mini fashion show, all provoking joy and laughter.
Roen Higgins and Lillian Reid served as masters of ceremonies and DJ Roger Belgrave set the mood with his selections of music.
The Social Committee thanks Pastor O. Patterson, Pastor H. Cousins, and their families, Thelma Johnson of the Pioneer Women of Canada, and to all the guests who by their presence contributed to the success of this special evening.
They also extend a special “thank you” to all the performers for blessing the event with their gifts: Kayla McCream, Tivon Yearwood, Josiah, Shayla, Casey, Janet Jackson, Citia, Erickson Skerritt, Alyssa Walton and Nasman Joseph. Also to CeCe Walker for his performance and for adding his personal touch to the success of the program booklet.
And to all a special word: “May God’s blessing continue to abide with all Montrealers for the New Year, 2015, and for many years to come.”
