Community Contact Staff

After making a name for himself as a drummer on the international circuit, Glen Washington captivated reggae fans with his entrancing voice and style as a frontline act.
Today, hits like ‘Strangers in the night,’ ‘Kindness for weakness,’ ‘Can’t Keep A Good Man Down’, ‘Careless Minded People’, ‘Breaking Up’, ‘The Love Of God’ and ‘Open Your Eyes’ continue to make him one of most desired performers on the concert scene.
When he comes to Montreal on Saturday, February 13, a lot of ladies will be drawn to the Eveagreen Reception Hall, 5011 Rue Buchan, to revel in a performance that is meant to entice and entertain.
Glen can sing and he sings songs to make you swoon and dance.
Coming from May Pen, Clarendon, Jamaica, he started in a hotel house band playing drums and doing vocals.
He moved to the USA and then Canada. He became a member of the famed Sattalites and then drummed for Shinehead in New York and he toured the world.
His career as a vocalist followed and then the hits flowed.
He will be here for the much anticipated Fantasy Part 2 – A Valentine’s Affair.
The event will also feature performances by local soca star Ghost and singer Alicia.
More music will be provided by Calm, 610, DJ Toney, Professor, and Lil Thunder, with guest appearances by Mr. Hits and MC Howard Stretch Carr.
There will be door prizes in abundance, including a return trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
This is a Nice Timez Promotions production: Infoline: 514-562-3075 (Calm).
