As an entrepreneur, Gedian Fyah is tireless in promoting his business and his ideas.
Over the past 13 years, he has been a staple in the uptown area searching for ways to expand his urban wear business, which he started by selling out of a back-pack before moving to a storefront on Victoria Ave. then on the Cote des Neiges Plaza.

Today, he has reached another high point as he celebrate the launch of his Ranch line of shoulder bags, which has been making headways in the local market since they hit the road a couple months ago.
“For me Ranch is special because it’s a symbol of luxury and style. And I think many people are searching for a bag that makes them look and feel good.” he says.
The elegantly printed shoulder bags come in a variety of colors and are now primarily available at Gedian’s store Swag City, which is located on the ground floor of the plaza.
Swag City stands as one of the biggest Black-owned stores in the city and has become a popular stop-off point for fashionable Montrealers.
In addition to its collection of Ranch bags, the store is also stacked with a nice variety of winter and all-season gear including winter coats, tights, baseball caps and a range of brand-name boots such as Timberlands, Lugz among others.
Gedian says even as business get tougher and tougher in these challenging economic time he continues to value the support he has been receiving from the community and beyond.
