Book Launch

There will be a double book launch at paragraphe bookstore November 12 from 6 pm with H. Nigel Thomas and Naim Kattan. Join them at librairie paragraphe bookstore for the launch of “No Safeguards” by H. Nigel Thomas and “Farida” by Naim Kattan (translated by Norman Cornett and Antonio D’Alfonso). Antigua & Barbuda Independence

The Antigua & Barbuda Association of Montreal Inc. invites the general public to their 34th Independence Anniversary Banquet at IL Gabbiano on Saturday, November 14 at 6pm. 1550 rue Lapierre. Tickets are $75. The Keynote Speaker will be author, Mr. Franklin Jones.

CBAC Bus Trip

JCCWLM Banquet on Nov. 21

On Saturday, November 21, the Jamaican Canadian Community Women’s League of Montreal Inc. will be celebrating their 15th anniversary Banquet (dinner & dance).
This annual event allows the organization to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year with the community.
Under the leadership of founder and president, Miss Ivyline Fleming, the JCCWLM has presented programming and projects which focus on Civic Participation, Financial Literacy, Computer Skills, Senior Issues and Youth Topics just to name a few. In the past, the organization has also given out numerous scholarships and bursaries to nursing students.
The JCCWLM invites the whole community to come out and celebrate with them on what will be a very special night. Cocktails at 6pm, dinner at 7:30pm. Music provided by DJ TLC. Christmas Banquet

Chateauguay Horizon Community Association presents its 21st annual Christmas fundraising banquet speaker and live performances, dress: semi-formal. Cote-des-Neiges Black Community Association

CDNBCA is hosting more fun days for children in the Community. On
Monday, November 16, 8am-4pm and Tuesday, November 17, 8am-4pm.
Register your child for a day full of activities, from homework help in the morning to games, arts and crafts and movies in the afternoon.
