It was a sparkling evening at Buffet Il Gabbiano when the congregation and friends of Union United Church gathered for the “Our Faith Carries Us Home” Gala on Saturday, November 8.
“Testimonies of Belonging” were offered by a cross-section of the congregation in a Voices of the Generation segment. And guests heard from Judge Juanita Westmoreland, Gail Grant, Wanda West, Shawn Braithwaite and Jared Joseph.
Several of Montreal’s top performers were there, including Skipper Dean, Lorraine Klaasen and Davidson and Lewis Group (Wendy, Cynthia, Issa and Carol).
Maya Johnson and Jonathan Emile served as very capable hosts of the evening.
