Get ready early because it will move fast. Meteorologists predict this will be one of the hottest summers since 2012, with August being the scorcher.
The world famous F1 Grand Prix will take center stage this weekend in the heart of Montreal. Next week, June 16-19, experience the 17th edition of Taste of the Caribbean at the Old Port. There will be over 20 vendors representing and preparing food from several islands.
Last year, I hosted TOTC; this time around you can find me serving food for Tasty Touch Caribbean and international cuisine. Enjoy a taste to remember from experienced cooks combining their expertise to create aucocoaTea_tn_MASTERthentic cuisine.
On June 18, the annual Blues Festival returns to the West Island for music lovers.
Up next we will be getting ready to hit the road for the 41st Carifiesta celebrations. Notable will take place July 1st at the Hampton Inn for the Umoja All White Affair. You are all invited to re-connect with friends and family—from the old to the new.

Most recently, MIRF announced their summer ‘16 line-up. As always, it’s an awesome one. Back by popular demand Cocoa Tea will go live opening night; Mavado is scheduled to appear on dancehall Saturday. Singers Sunday is fully loaded with Grammy-nominated Barrington Levy; Sanchez, Romain Virgo, Jahmiel and Vershon, just to name some others. Save the dates August 26-28th 2016.
Summer comes and goes quickly in a winter-dominated city. Let’s make the best of the months ahead and enjoy them to the fullest.
