It’s a rite of the fall season when Montrealers gather in great numbers to participate in an evening of indulgence: Southern Cake tasting at The Hive on the Loyola Campus of Concordia University.
“For The Love Of Cake 6” is hosted by Mama J`s Cakes and offers guests an opportunity to over-do it for one night by sampling a long list of cheesecakes and other sweet delights.
According to Mama J, it’s probably the only time when you’ll be able to “have your cake and eat it too.”
She promises several new additions to her long established cake repertoire, such as  “Fusion, Strawberry Vanilla Cream, and CCJ.”
The evening will be more than just indulging in sweetness. There will be one or two spoken word artists on hand to assist in the digestion. There will also be lots of door prizes.
And part of the proceeds will go The Eva R Gsum Foundation, which provides scholarships and other forms of financial assistance to student athletes.
For The Love Of Cake 6, 2015, runs between 6:30pm – 10:00 pm.
