Maurice “Mo” Jean Tremblay
March 17, 1950 – Novembre 29. 2023
In Loving Memory of a remarkable Man, born in Montreal, Quebec and later finding his final resting place in Toronto, Ontario after bravely facing cancer. At 73, Maurice leaves behind a legacy cherished by his Mother Carmen. A devoted husband of 30 years to Erica Barnett. Maurice was also a loving and dear father to Melissah Mercer-Tremblay, Meshawna Mercer-Tremblay (Amanda) and Kiona Mercer-Tremblay (Earl). Loving Step-father to Brittany Barnett & Dylan Barnett. A proud and cherished Grandpa to Theodore, Masai, Matias and Malaki. Nephew to his cherished Uncle Eddie and Brother to Claudette and missed by all of his family.
He held an unwavering affection for his family and friends, savoring the richness of life through these connections.
His impact will reverberate through all generations. Starting with a love for the Arts, he had a career spanning over 45 years in the Film and Television Industry, where he brought his passion to life leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met. He was an empath with a deep connection to spirituality. He was an enthusiast of tai chi, historical facts, sports and good cuisine.
Who found solace in long drives and joy in the soulful melodies of jazz and Motown. Maurice’s love extended beyond his illustrious career and personal interests. His warmth, laughter, story telling abilities and enduring wisdom will forever be remembered by those fortunate to have shared in his happiness. Charles Grafeth Palmer
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Grafeth Palmer on November 22nd, 2023 in Montreal.
Survived by his wife Maud Beatrice Palmer, he leaves behind his children Clive Anthony Palmer and Angela Norine Palmer as well as his grandchildren Shanelle Chantay Jarvis and Antoine Grant Jarvis. He is survived and predeceased by his brothers and sisters in Jamaica, the United States and Canada.

The Passing of Ricardo Drue leaves everyone in shock
The Soca fraternity is in total shock as Ricardo Drue dies at the age of 38. Soca sensation Ricardo Drue was pronounced dead at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre around noon Tuesday. He had been rushed to hospital after being found unresponsive.
Members of his family and entertainment fraternity are now gathered at the hospital after being informed of the shocking news. Drue had recently engaged Patrice Roberts whom he has a daughter with. Drue was Born in Antigua and Barbuda is a father of five and will be truly missed. 2023 Drue had dominated the Soca Monarch and Road Marchspheres in Antigua, and has amassed a large following across the region.
