New slate ready to serve SVG Assoc. of Mtl.

At their AGM on December 4, members of the St. Vincent And The Grenadines Association Of Montreal Inc. put in place a new executive to lead through the 2023-2024 year.
Ms. Rosmond Ryan, was elected president to replace the long serving Alfred Jack Dear, who did not seek re-election
She was joined by a slate of mostly women and one man.
Ms. Nicole John is now the vice president, Ms. Abigial Dick, will serve as public relations officer; Ms. Jackie Parris is the general secretary and Ms. Michelle Hooper as assistant secretary.
Members at Large are, Ms. Marva Toussaint, Ms. Pearline Anthony, and Mr. Lawrence Rose.
The association is one of the longest running organizations in Montreal’s Black community.
Among its various activities, it helps to organize the annual Vincy Day Picnic, which draws thousands of Vincentians and supporters to Brown’s Bay in Ontario.
