Montreal is gearing up for good time

In a world full of bad news, good news becomes even more precious.
Like Montreal having a Caribbean Carnival titled CARIMAS, after a few years hiatus. Then to learn a record number of Soca artists will be performing live in Montreal this year. Big names such as Lyrikal,
Patrice Roberts, Problem Child, Black Boy, Dhirv 2 funny, Skinny Fabulous, Waddicks, Nadia Batson, Benjai, Gbm Nutron, Ravi B, Hunter, Mical Teja, Super Blue, Dawg E Slaughter, Tony Cuttz, Terry Gajraj and many more.
This year marks our 50th year of Caribbean carnival in this City, thanks to Montreal CARIMAS. The Montreal Carimas Festival will comprise five different aspects, including two pageants for pre-teens, teenage girls, and young adults, a kiddie’s/junior carnival (Petit Carimas), the grand street parade, and the cool down and show in the park (Carimas Sizzle). We can see there’s a vast improvement in the Montreal Soca scene as the community is coming together to assist the (CCNM) The Caribbean Coalition Network Of Montreal in having a successful CARIMAS.
Also this year the Montreal party scene can see a large amount of Soca artists and Soca oriented events coming to our city. Not only is it a record breaking amount but a breath of fresh air for our community, as some might say that 2024 our Caribbean community has gotten a second chance and we are making the best out of it.
