Perpetual Praise Ministries (PPM) is in the midst of presenting its annual, spiritually empowering, community-based, 4-part series called May Movement: Refreshed at The Crowley Arts Centre throughout the month of May on Saturday, May 14, 21 & 28. The progressive programs coordinated by a nucleus of young, Christian adults are geared towards connecting with the local community, while it emphasizes faith, hope and love from a Christian perspective using multi-media, modern worship songs, inspiring testimonies and motivational talks given by world-class speakers and permaymoventformed by popular recording artists.
May Movement: Refreshed will be hosted at the Crowley Arts Centre in NDG. The intimate, state-of-the-art venue was ground zero for March Movement: Reloaded in 2015, another memorable 4-part series produced by Perpetual Praise Ministries, the launching pad for the creative, faith-based organization. The heavily marketed event is strategically situated in the heart of the city to appeal to all demographics and denominations.
The yearly gospel-centric celebration was first conceived by Michelle Clarke, Pastor & Co-Founder of Perpetual Praise Ministries and first introduced as a youth-oriented, evangelistic series at the LaSalle New Life SDA Church called March Madness back in 2010. Since then, May Movement: Refreshed has quickly evolved into a highly anticipated, transforming experience that attracts a multicultural, multilingual and multigenerational audience from Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.
May Movement: Refreshed will feature an array of respectable guest speakers and recording artists such as famed California evangelist and founder of the Madison Mission Family Center in Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. James Doggette Sr. (May 21). Making their debut performance in Montreal on May 14 is one of the most gifted artists to emerge out of Ottawa in recent years, Campus Rush Ministries (CRM) born on the campuses of Carleton University with deep connections to one of the largest churches in Ottawa, Transforming Life Centre, with over 1,500 members. To cap off an amazing month-long series and end May Movement on a high note will be New York City’s dynamic Gospel choir known as Vincent Bohanan & The Sounds Of Victory Fellowship Choir from Brooklyn, New York.
Complimenting this outstanding cast of clergy are artists from Montreal and abroad are a society of musical standouts including Montreal recording artist Zina Edwards, The Fitz-Patrick Sisters, Priscilla Findlay, Guerschon Auguste, The Family and the resident musical hosts, Perpetual Praise & The PPM Praise Team. Adding to the musical affair will be special guests Michelle Adams (Toronto), Ray Robinson (Toronto) and Yes2Life (Toronto).
May Movement: Refreshed gets underway on Saturday, May 14 with two programs, in the morning at 11AM and again in the evening at 7PM. Admission is free. All are welcomed. Seating is limited so guests are encouraged to arrive before start time.
