Easter is a time of HOPE

He is not here; He has risen [Matthew 28:6]

I love the newness of this time of year; it reminds me of fresh new beginnings, new growth and new opportunities.
We all have those broken places in our lives that keep us stuck and stagnant; some might call it our winter season.
We try to ignore it or minimize it, but in order to experience a true transformation we have to acknowledge our brokenness so that the healing process can begin.
Sometimes we are so blinded by our past hurts that we miss the blessings all around us. We have to give God the broken pieces of our lives so that we can continue to grow and thrive.
There are times that I’m overwhelmed by God’s presence, by his goodness, his forgiveness, his love, his patience, his grace, mercy, healing power and how he can put the broken pieces of our lives back together, if we allow him.
In this season don’t be overwhelmed by life; don’t be overwhelmed by your circumstances; be overwhelmed in the presence of the giver of life and give him all of your broken pieces.
He died and rose again to give us new life so that we might live and live abundantly.
I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. [John 10:10]
Abundant living is not just about having stuff but living a life of peace, joy and contentment.
Remember all that he’s done for you, remember what the resurrection means and remember all of your blessings.
Thank God for EVERYTHING that he has done for you!
Every single day is a new opportunity to start anew.
He has Risen…
This is a season of renewal, it’s a time of restoration, it’s a time of revitalization, it’s a time of forgiveness and healing.
It’s a time of HOPE.
Watchman Nee once wrote, “Our old history ends with the cross; our new history begins with the resurrection.”
Have a peaceful and reflective week.
Live the blessing! Focus on how blessed you are not just on how stressed you are. Focus on what you have and not on what you lack. Focus on the possibilities.
