Lady G, Tiger and Johnny P, together for the first time in Montreal

When you hear names like Lady G, Tiger, and Johnny P, you think of Dancehall and Reggae stars of the 80s and 90s who have given the world mega hits such as Nuff Respect, Cool Me Down and Trust in God.
Thankfully, for lovers of reggae and dancehall music, these legends are still on the performing circuit doing their thing and thrilling audiences around the world.
Montrealers are in line to experience these three mega stars, who will share a stage here, for the first time on Friday November 4, at Le Belmont, 4483 St. Laurent corner of Mont Royal, in downtown Montreal, at a show titled Legends of Dance Hall. And it promises to be a once in a lifetime event because of the lineup of young supporting stars who are also the bill including, Tiger Cub and Markie Melody from Jamaica together with Montreal’s Alicia “Miss Diva” Anderson and Moto Mokonzie.
They will be backed by the Indie Rootz Band, one of the top performing reggae groups in the city, in a show that will also feature a strong line-up of Montreal’s top deejays, DJ Poncho, Nu-Impact Sound and Johnny Black (CKUT).
The show is a production of Indie Rootz Records and executive producer Brian Kotler says it’s an event for all music lovers because these legendary performers represent a time when it was all about the music.
